Privacy Policy

Last updated 13 October 2026

Short version: this website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or ads. If you join the waitlist, we use your email address only to confirm it, tell you when Daymake launches and give you your Founder’s reward. Every email has a way to unsubscribe.

Who we are

“Daymake”, “we” and “us” mean the team building the Daymake app. You can reach us at hello@daymake.app.

This policy covers the website

This policy covers daymake.app. The Daymake iPhone app isn’t available yet. It will have its own privacy policy, published here before it launches, explaining exactly what the app stores and why.

What this website collects

The site is a set of static pages with no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts and images are served from this domain, so reading a page doesn’t contact other companies. The one exception is the waitlist, described below: opening the waitlist form loads a bot check from Cloudflare, and submitting it sends your email address to our waitlist service.

Like every website, the service that hosts it receives standard technical information when your browser requests a page: your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. The host uses this to deliver the site and keep it secure, and keeps it for a limited time under its own policies. We don’t use it to identify you.

The waitlist

What we collect. Your email address; when you signed up and which button you used; which version of the sign-up wording you saw; and, if the link that brought you to the site had campaign tags (such as utm_source) or you came from another website, those tags and that website’s name.

What we use it for. To send you a one-time link that confirms the address is yours (it expires after 24 hours), to email you when Daymake launches, and to reserve and deliver your Founder’s reward, which arrives as a code in the launch email. We don’t add you to any other mailing list, and we don’t sell your address or share it for anyone else’s marketing. If we ever offer other updates, we’ll ask first.

Keeping bots out. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is being used by a person. To do that, Cloudflare processes technical information from your browser and your IP address, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We also count sign-up attempts per network address to stop abuse. For that we store a keyed one-way code derived from the address, not the address itself, and delete the counts within two days.

Who helps us. Supabase stores the waitlist database and runs the code behind the form. Resend sends the emails. Cloudflare provides the bot check. They handle this information on our behalf, and may do so in the United States and other countries.

Email delivery. Resend tells us whether each email was delivered, bounced or marked as spam. We use that only to stop emailing addresses that can’t or don’t want to receive our emails. We don’t track whether you open emails or click links in them.

Unsubscribing. Every email after the first confirmation has an unsubscribe link, and mail apps that support one-click unsubscribe show it too. Unsubscribing stops all waitlist emails. Your Founder’s reward stays reserved unless you ask us to delete your information.

How long we keep it. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days. Confirmed entries are kept until Daymake has launched and the reward has been delivered, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it to reply. We don’t sell it or share it for marketing, and we delete it when you ask us to.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it, including your waitlist entry, at any time, by emailing hello@daymake.app. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and you can complain to your data protection authority.

Children

This website and the waitlist aren’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you’re under 13, please don’t join the waitlist.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above. If a change is significant, we’ll say so on this page.
